School History

St. Bernard’s School Kojonup, was established by the Sisters of Mercy and has been meeting the educational, spiritual and pastoral needs of children in Kojonup since 1952. The Mercy Sisters were active in the school until 1986 when the administration and management were entrusted to a total lay staff. Through the course of its history, St. Bernard’s has become an integral part of the town being one of the longest surviving institutions and responsible for the primary school education of many within the Kojonup community.
